The Tefal Freemove FV9966 steam iron combines power and efficiency with low maintenance. It offers 35g/minute steam output, to gently soften clothes for easier ironing. The Tefal Ultimate anti scale also boasts a trigger-controlled 160g/minute shot of steam that allows you to make light work of difficult and stubborn creases.

 

 

Steam output

 

 

The steam output of an iron is indicated in grams per minute (g/min), so the higher the output, the more steam is generated to tackle creases. Also the more powerful the iron, the deeper the steam will penetrate fabric for quicker, hassle-free ironing and excellent results, no matter the fabric.

 

 

Automatic steam

 

 

The automatic steam function automatically regulates the amount of steam needed for each type of fabric and contributes to make the ironing effortless. This fast-heating 2600W steam iron is also equipped with Tefal’s exclusive Durilium Autoclean soleplate.

When ironing delicate fabrics at low temperature, the anti drip prevents water from dripping on your linen. To make it spotless, a precision tip will contributes to a perfect finish around buttons and collars.

 

 

Smart auto-off for extra safety

 

 

When accidently left unattended, the iron automatically turns off. If left on its heel it will switch off in 8 minutes. If left on the soleplate or on the side, it only takes 30 seconds before the iron shuts off.

The Technology Durilium Autoclean soleplate makes ironing easier. It will enhance effortless soleplate maintenance, providing a better long-term guidability and a perfect steam diffusion. FV9966 is self-cleaning, with anti-drip functions preventing your iron to leak on your garments.
