The Barista Gran Gusto Espresso is a semi-automatic machine with programmable cup size as well as a hot water and steam function for all your coffee preparations or just a cup of tea. In addition, this espresso machine has a sturdy professional portafilter for 58 mm filter inserts.

Professional 58 mm Filter Inserts

58 mm filter inserts are the largest size available on the market. The larger the portafilter, the higher the force of extraction using the same pressure.

Single & Double Spout 

The Gran Gusto comes with a single and a double spout, so you can prepare up to 2 servings at a time.

Programmable Cup Size

From Freshly Roasted Coffee Bean to Perfect Espresso

To make the perfect espresso, you can really use any coffee bean with this machine. Preferably freshly roasted beans because these beans retain the most flavour aromas. Grind the freshly roasted beans with a consistent coffee grinder into the 58 mm professional filters for 1 or 2 cups that are included in this machine's accessories, to get a balanced extraction of your espresso. Then you press the coffee with the professional metal tamper and place the portafilter in the brewing unit. All that remains is to select the desired number of cups. When you want to brew two cups of coffee, you can interchange the single and double spout the Solis Barista Gran Gusto is equipped with. The programmable cup size (up to 60 seconds) allows you to control the reference volume in the cup(s).

The Solis Barista Gran Gusto features automatic low-pressure pre-infusion that gently moistens the freshly ground coffee with low pressure to smoothly expand for an even extraction under high pressure. The high-capacity 15-bar Italian espresso pump uses the water from the tank. With the help of a thermoblock, it creates the perfect cup of coffee or steam from the steam / hot water wand on demand. During that process, the machine's PID controller uses an algorithm to keep your machine at the exactly the right brew temperature during operation.

With the steam function of this espresso machine you can easily make professional ‘micro foam’ from the frothed milk for a variety of coffee delicacies like the café latte or flat white. Programmable Cup Size
