Step 1 of 4 : Turn speed to 0

Turn the stand mixer speed control to '0' (Off). Unplug mixer or disconnect power

Step 2 of 4 : Remove attachment hub cover

Depending on which type of hub you have, either flip-up the hinged cover or loosen the attachment knob by turning it counter clockwise and removing the attachment hub cover.

Step 3 of 4 : Insert attachment shaft

Insert the attachment shaft into the attachment hub, making certain that the power shaft fits into the square hub socket. You may need to rotate the attachment back and forth.

Step 4 of 4 : Tighten attachment knob

Tighten the attachment knob by turning it clockwise until the attachment is completely secured to the stand mixer.
